Position Overview: The IT Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all hardware, software, and network systems within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support and assistance to employees on IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
· Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
· Ensure the security of all IT systems and data, including implementing firewalls, anti-virus software, and security patches.
· Assist in the management and maintenance of company servers, databases, and cloud-based systems.
· Conduct regular system backups and assist in data recovery processes.
· Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure efficient operation.
· Provide training and guidance to end-users on software applications and IT best practices.
· Stay up to date with the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Technician, or similar role.
· Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
· Familiarity with networking concepts, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques.
· Experience with IT security, firewalls, and antivirus software.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
